Doug Hall’s paintings reflect his admiration and respect for the culture of early Eastern Woodland Native Americans. Influential in his development has been mentor Bob Tommy of Carthage, Missouri. Hall grew up in Neosho, Missouri, and cannot remember when he didn’t paint. He now lives in McDonald County surrounded by Huckleberry State Forest.

Past recognition includes The George Phippen Memorial Fine Art Award (Prescott, Arizona, 2002); First Place in Oils (Sedona, Arizona, Art Festival 2003); First Place in Oils (Ponca City, Oklahoma, Art Association Show 2000 and 2001); The Helen S.
